Round Two - Posted On: 2011-12-01 12:42:23 Well, first off, we'd like to apologize. That clearly did not go as well as expected. We learned a lot from round 1, made some changes, tested, and thought we had a workable solution. Apparently not. We know folks sacrifice a fair amount of time to try to get tickets, and we certainly don't want to waste your time.
A quick rundown. We had a bit of an issue at high noon getting the link live. The browser we were using to post the link barfed and we had to use a different machine to get the link live.
After that... we're still investigating. Folks were making it through the cluster, but the back end system wasn't returning registration pages. Instead, it was serving up a pile of different errors.
We did eventually sell out. All tickets for round 2 are accounted for. However that appears to not be the end of the story. We're going to re-evaluate the whole process for round 3. We appreciate all the feedback in email and twitter and welcome more of it. We understand your frustration and don't want to burn whatever good will is left. We'll post more info on how we're going to handle round 3 once we get it sorted out.

Last Day for CFP SubmissionsPosted On: 2011-11-29 09:00:11 Today is the last day we'll accept submissions to the CFP so get your submission in now if you haven't already. Our program committee has been working hard to review your talks. With over 160 submissions so far, there's plenty to keep us busy reading!

For those who reserved tickets...Posted On: 2011-11-01 13:05:08 We will be sending out confirmation emails in about an hour. At that time we will also open up the purchasing system. You will have 24 hours to come back and purchase your tickets.
Edited to add:
Yeah...we didn't catch the year on the email. It says 2011. Don't worry...it's really a ticket for 2012.
