For the fifth year in a row ShmooCon will be held at the Wardman Park Mariott Hotel in downtown D.C.. Recently renovated, the Wardman is probably too nice a hotel for a hacker con, but they keep letting us back. The Wardman Park is just minutes from the National Zoo, the Washington Monument, and enough museums to last a lifetime. Also located within a short distance of the hotel is the historic neighborhood of Adams Morgan and some of the city's best dining.

Ave. Follow Connecticut. Ave. for 1 mile. Cross over the William Taft Bridge. Make a left turn at the 3rd light after the bridge onto Woodley Rd. The Hotel entrance is on left.

If you driving into DC, we highly recommend listening to the days traffic reports as you make your way into the city. WTOP (FM 103.5) has traffic every 10 minutes and can be a lifesaver when driving in the DC area. Local attendees may want to make use of the Metro as the hotel sits directly atop the Woodley Park Metro Stop (red line).
