500 tickets were released this round.
All tickets were held in 5.96 seconds.
The waitlist filled up .53 seconds after that.

So, by our definition, Round Two sold out in 6.49 seconds.  At this point all tickets are accounted for and we take down the registration link.  It does take longer for reservations to be completed.

The first reservation was completed 5.56 seconds after registration officially opened.
All reservations were complete in 11 minutes and 4 seconds. This number is higher this time because a single ticket was bouncing down the waitlist while we patiently waited for someone to pick it up.

In the last ten seconds before we updated the landing page to include the reg link, we saw an average of 1295 page requests per second from 948 unique IPs. Peak bandwidth usage was 20 Mbps (no real graphics keeps this number nice and low).

Taking a deeper look at reservations it appears that there are:

  • 46 IPs with 1 ticket
  • 198 IPs with 2 tickets
  • 12 IPs with more than 2 <— mostly businesses/schools/gov’t agencies, a few residential addresses.
  • 32 tickets were obtained via the waitlist

Congrats to all who were successful.  The next round is Dec. 17st – Noon, EST.

And since we’re still talking numbers:
Seventy-six trombones led the BIG parade,
With a hundred and ten cornets close at hand.
They were followed by rows and rows of the finest virtuosos,
The cream of ev’ry famous band.
