Here are your Round 3 stats.  We’ll have end of year stats for you in a day or two.

  • 250 tickets were released this round.
  • All tickets were held in 3.4 seconds.
  • The waitlist filled up .52 seconds after that.

So, by our definition, we sold out in 3.92 seconds.  At this point all tickets are accounted for and we take down the registration link.  It does take longer for reservations to be completed.

The first reservation was completed 7.2 seconds after registration officially opened.

All reservations were complete in 3 minutes 37 seconds.

In the last ten seconds before we updated the landing page to include the reg link, we saw an average of 1400 page requests per second with an average of 1200 different IPs per second.  Peak bandwidth usage was 556 Mbps.  This is double last round.  We realized pretty quick that one of the Bills was twice as big as he needed to be. After we went live, the average page request per second went up to 4365.

Taking a look at reservations it appears that there are:

  • 14 IPs with 1 ticket
  • 104 IPs with 2 tickets
  • 6 IPs with more than 2 <— again mostly businesses/schools/gov’t agencies

Congrats to all who were successful. Now that you have your tickets a few things to consider:

Hotel reservations – make yours now before the room block closes.
Consider entering Barcode Shmarcode or participating in ShmooCon Labs.

To everyone else, we’ll be live streaming again so join us on the interwebs – we’ll post that information right before the con.

Thanks again folks!
